Time, Carla, and Peak Performance
One of my passions is the pursuit of maximum performance. As an NCAA DIV I wrestler many years ago, as a neurosurgeon, as a coach and speaker, I've been fascinated and motivated by the secrets of attaining peak performance. This presentation was made at the Hunterdon Healthcare Foundation Annual Lecture and tells the story of meeting Carla..., a young girl with a life ahead of her..., if she could only survive the next few minutes. In it, I talk about performance lessons from neurosurgery, and the realization that there are MANY factors that go into maximizing your ability to achieve the desired outcome.
I hope you enjoy it.
